Kalion is a self-funded, customer-sustained AI company. Decades of enterprise software experience — and the discipline to build on our own terms.
Kalion was founded in 2026 by veterans of the enterprise software industry — people who have built and scaled mission-critical software for the Fortune 1000 before, and learned what matters along the way.
Kalion is our second act. Our founding team started its first company in 1999, during the first dot-com era, and spent the next 17 years building enterprise software that the Fortune 1000 ran their operations on. That company exited through a successful sale in 2016. Kalion brings that same long-game discipline to AI.
We're self-funded and customer-sustained. Every dollar we've earned comes from delivering real value to real organizations. That discipline keeps us focused — we build what customers need, ship when it's ready, and grow at a pace that compounds.
After decades in the trenches of enterprise technology — watching organizations struggle with disconnected tools, stalled AI initiatives, and vendor lock-in — we founded Kalion to fix it.
As we expand into new markets, we're open to partnering with investors who share our vision for the future of enterprise AI. If that's you, we'd love to hear from you.
We're building Kalion the way we think all companies should be built — lean, opinionated, and obsessed with the work.
The product is the pitch. We don't hire armies of salespeople to convince you — we build software so good it sells itself. If you need a 90-slide deck to understand the value, we've failed.
Every feature exists because a customer needed it, not because a competitor shipped it. We talk to the people using our software every week. That's where the roadmap comes from.
We don't just sell AI — we build with it. AI is woven into how we design, develop, test, and ship. We use the same tools we're building for our customers.
Small team. Big output. We stay lean not because we can't afford to grow, but because small teams make better decisions, move faster, and care more about craft.
We make choices so our customers don't have to agonize. Azure-native. Config-driven. Dark mode by default. Strong defaults, escape hatches where they matter.
We're building a company meant to last. Sustainable growth, real profitability, and the patience to get things right. When we grow, it'll be with partners who think the same way.
Today, “AI for the enterprise” usually means a noisy demo, five competing tools, and a year-long platform project.
We think it should mean the opposite. A single front door. Sourced answers. Auditable workflows. Woven into the systems your teams already use, behind the login they already have.
We built Nexil so mid-market organizations can give every team an AI portal that just works — on day one, on the identity provider they already have.
Whether you're an organization looking for an AI portal or a consulting partner who wants to help your clients deploy one — we'd love to hear from you.
